Overview
Tipi, a luxury building complex, needed a website to showcase its properties, community atmosphere, and security features while enabling prospects to book viewings, apply for residency, and manage applications.
Challenge
Working under an extremely tight deadline, I collaborated with the brand agency on identity development and the technical team on Salesforce integration. To ensure swift client approval, I conducted daily check-ins while also supervising a junior designer responsible for responsive design elements.
Results
Through an iterative process including proto-personas, prototypes, and ongoing refinement of technical requirements and stakeholder feedback, I developed a solid website structure for property discovery, apartment searches, and booking viewings or reservations. The collaboration with the brand agency enabled creation of an innovative visual style appealing across different audiences and age ranges. By overseeing the responsive design I provided feedback and ensured consistency across devices.
Process
Research and Proto-personas: We conducted a heuristic evaluation to identify target markets, age groups, analyze their needs and behaviors, and based on the results we created 5 proto-personas with their respective use cases.
Information Architecture & Prototypes: The detailed research allowed the creation of the site structure and wireframes. We then created prototypes tracing the user journey of each persona to validate functionalities with the tech team and stakeholders.
Brand & visual design: the collaboration with the brand agency allowed me to use brand elements, such as patterns, to create UI elements and develop a unique layout with a strong identity.
Essential Outcomes
Through user research and persona development, we built a luxury property website for Tipi that enhancing both a distinctive identity and a seamless property discovery, booking, and application management. Despite tight deadlines, collaboration with brand and development teams ensured a distinctive, user friendly experience.
