Overview
Challenge
The challenge as solo designer, was to design a cohesive and scalable platform that could meet the diverse needs of different user groups, including creating detailed user journeys, designing a consistent design system, and ensuring responsive functionality across desktop and mobile interfaces.
Results
The project delivered a dual-purpose web application for patients and dentists, featuring comprehensive sitemaps, a robust design system, and responsive UI components. Through iterative user testing, the platform enabled patients to search clinics, book appointments, and request quotes, while providing dentists with tools to manage profiles, patient interactions, and professional networking.

Information Architecture: analysed user needs and project requirements to create detailed, persona-specific sitemaps that mthat mapped out the user journey for both patients and dentists.
Design: iteratively developed a flexible design system through daily collaborative sessions with the startup CEO, ensuring alignment with brand vision and user experience goals.
User testing: Designed and executed targeted user testing sessions, creating clickable prototypes and test scripts, then systematically analysed and incorporated user feedback to refine the platform.
Landing Site and Mobile Concept: crafted a compelling website to showcase the product and developed an innovative mobile app concept.
Essential Outcomes
The Scoute project demonstrated the power of user-centered design in creating a complex, globally-accessible digital platform. By meticulously crafting user journeys, developing a flexible design system, and conducting thorough user testing, the project successfully transformed a conceptual dental service marketplace into a functional, intuitive web application.
